Global lead volume.
In Q1 we received over 14,000 enquiries globally and, with your help, we managed to convert those leads into over 1,500 successful deals.
Whilst the UK saw the largest growth, AsiaPac is currently seeing gains, with more leads and more deals than at the same time last year. In fact Q1 2012 saw us close 215 deals – up 4% on Q1 2011, when we closed 206 deals.
This is great news and we fully expect Q2 to show strong growth in this market.
We always welcome feedback from our Operators, so if you think there is anything we can do to improve the quality and the volume of leads we pass on to you, please let us know - just drop us an email.
People.
We are currently recruiting for a Customer Relationship Executive and an additional Consultant to join our AsiaPac office. Expansion across the globe has continued, and in Q1 we recruited Nina Schuitemaker-Wichstrom. Nina joins our EMEA team as a Dutch and German consultant, following the re-launch of our Dutch website, and is fluent in Dutch and Norwegian.
Across the pond we have appointed a new Sales Manager for the Americas, Dave Marcuson, who's transferred from our London office. In recent weeks, we've also expanded our US team and welcome Lynn Munoz and Karen Morando as Consultants and Robert Utne as Customer Relationship Executive.
Birthday celebrations.
May 2012 sees Instant celebrating its 13th Birthday. Back in 1999, Rob Hamilton set up Instant as a one-man-band based in the UK. Now we are a global business with a team of just under 90 full time staff, working out of Sydney, Miami and London, and we are constantly growing and expanding into new markets.
All the best for Q2.
